About Conference
Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University is committed to the knowledge-intensive sectors and has become a key organizational dilemma; not only in the development of education quality by producing qualified teachers and advancing teacher education. Priding itself as ‘A Thinking Institute’, the faculty strives to serve the Thailand educational development goals. This leads to the next mission, in which we promote the ways our students think and learn. From the think tank, students are encouraged to conduct research that could generate innovations to support society's development. Our proactive academic service and consistent organizational management development have been the keys that drive the faculty toward being the ‘thinking institute’. The COVID-19 pandemic has unprecedentedly disrupted and affected all professional sectors, including education. To address education in the present era, continuous faculty and staff development on the platform of virtual conferences is proposed.
The Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, together with the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN), an international teacher education organization in Southeast Asia with 10 member nations, are hosting an academic virtual conference entitled "International Teacher Education Network Conference: New Paradigms in Education in the Post-COVID-19 Era" from March 16th to 17th, 2022. The conference serves as a platform for educators from Thailand and around the world for academic exchange and experience-sharing. It also aims to encourage discussions that could pave the way toward future educational practices during and after the ever-changing disruptive sociocultural and educational contexts that address the challenges accompanying the pandemic. The conference will gather educators and practitioners from a variety of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary fields to share insights on education management, assessment and evaluation, education technology, and other related fields. Distinguished keynote speakers and invited speakers from a selection of fields of study will be asked to contribute to the conference according to their expertise. Participants are invited to attend the conference in the plenary and parallel sessions. The conference will call for abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
